Circular Gallery

A 3D coverflow — cards orbit an invisible cylinder, projected by real perspective math, with floor reflections and inertia.

A premium spatial gallery: every card is placed at an angle around an invisible vertical cylinder, then projected to the screen with genuine perspective math — screen position, scale, depth-fade and angle-based brightness are all computed per frame from angle · radius · camera distance, not faked with CSS. The front card is largest, brightest and on top; cards rotating away shrink, recede, darken and fade, so the back half all but disappears. Drag, swipe, scroll, the arrow keys or the buttons rotate it, and on release it carries momentum and settles onto the nearest card with a spring. Subtle blurred floor reflections sit under each card. Radius and card size adapt to the viewport. GPU-accelerated via translate3d.

FIELD GUIDE

How a specimen works.

FOUR STEPS

Every specimen is presented like lab equipment — framed, labelled, and ready to be taken apart.

STEP 01
Open the stage.
Each component sits inside a framed preview viewport with registration ticks, a live frame counter, and the easing curve plotted alongside it.
STAGE
STEP 02
Slow it down.
Step through frames, swap easing, toggle reduced motion. Read the animation the way you’d read a contact sheet.
SCRUB
STEP 03
Read the source.
Every specimen is one self-contained file — HTML markup, a CSS block, and vanilla JavaScript. No framework, no build step, no dependencies.
ONE FILE
STEP 04
Take it home.
Copy the file, drop it in your project, change the props. No CLI, no install, no lock-in. MIT licensed.
